I'd tentatively say it doesn't look too bad for December first...
The standard shot. As always, click to embiggen, and you can click again on the larger version for a super-sized one.
Here's the front lawn, with a few leaves down in the latest wind storm today. I thought the contrast down the block was amusing. When driving up the street, there's one dark green patch...

As the younger folks say around the interwebs: Win!
Thankew, thankew. Here's hoping it lasts into January...
Been meaning to ask every time I see the standard backyard picture. Your property seems to extend to the vinyl fence, yet the neighbors front lawn care (or your lack of) extends past the fence line. Why? Why doesn't the property line go straight from the fence to the curb? Was the fence installed not exactly on the property line?
The fence is correct--I just over-care for their lawn on my side to make it more consistent. Then I jog out where the fence ends to the actual property line. Essentially it gives us six extra feet of grass that looks nice without a severe cut right in the middle of things.
I "may" have had a Round Up "accident" or "two" over time and then reseeded with KBG on the side of the yard after the property line. Maybe.
Sorry, I don't understand ... so the neighbor installed a fence, 6' off the property line, thus making their usable space 6' less?
Essentially, yes. It's still their property, I just mow, feed, and care for it (as they didn't when I ignored it).
